RRW

The United Methodist Church’s RRW, which stands for Rukwadzano RweWadzimai (or the Women’s Fellowship), is a foundational women’s organization primarily active in Southern Africa (such as Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Malawi). Its core functions revolve around spiritual growth, evangelism, and community development. RRW is committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ through nurturing , outreaching, witnessing, and networking for the transformation of the world.

The key functions of the RRW include:

Evangelism and Prayer:

Promoting spiritual development through daily devotions, early morning prayers, and leading church revivals to spread the Christian message

Social Welfare and Charity:

Providing critical support to the vulnerable, which includes caring for the sick, the elderly, orphans, and the girl child

Women’s Empowerment:

Equipping women with sustainable life skills and entrepreneurship opportunities (such as tailoring workshops and agriculture initiatives) so they can support their families and communities.

Church Leadership:

Serving as the financial and logistical backbone of the church, where members actively support the clergy, build church infrastructure, and participate in church governance
